Terminal Fusión is a fast-food restaurant that fuses Japanese cuisine with Peruvian flavors, with three locations in Lima, Peru. Its essence lies in the combination of human values and the freshest ingredients the sea offers every day.
Project Goals
Refreshing the brand's logo to reflect the essence of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. We also designed the entire graphic identity for in-store orders, ensuring that every detail (from packaging to touchpoints) spoke the same visual language and achieved a modern and playful aesthetic.
For the logo, I illustrated an octopus (a popular food in Peru and Japan) and placed the name inside a port wood plank. For the typography, I used BEBAS NEUE.
OLD LOGO
NEW LOGO
I decided to work with the branding in black and white, leaving out the mustard because it didn't enhance the contrast and obscured some key elements. The octopus is the heart of the concept and appears in several graphics as a symbol of fusion. For the menu, I wanted it to feel fresh and youthful, so I created collage-like compositions and placed the makis in the foreground, as the visual protagonists.
The design of the delivery boxes was developed with the aim of offering a visually distinctive solution, based on the bento format. An explanatory illustration with Peruvian cultural references was added, intended to inform about the traditional way of consuming sushi. As this is a fast food service, the visibility of the phone number was prioritized as a functional element. The proposal seeks to clearly differentiate itself from the traditional graphic approach of the competition.
