A little about me

I graduated in 2016 with a degree in Advertising from the Toulouse Lautrec Institute, where I had the opportunity to use design tools for the first time, and there was no turning back.

Why do I design? Because I love designing and creating. The idea of being able to create something and make it tangible visually is something that really appeals to me (which is why I also like putting together puzzles). I'm also interested in being able to apply my creativity to solve problems or propose visual or interactive alternatives.

I started as a graphic and digital designer, working primarily for small advertising agencies where I saw primarily branding projects. During this time, I learned about web design, which helped me define the branch of design I wanted to pursue.

Why UX/UI? To sum up, I think that the structure and versatility in UI design allows designers like you to have more creative freedom even though there are limits, since you can find different ways to present the same product. It is also much more interesting since our design cannot always be based on our opinion or perspective, which often makes it a challenge, and that is also why I leaned towards UX design. I am very intrigued by human psychology and its behavior, not enough to study psychology, but enough to study them.

Finally, being able to work as a UX/UX allows you to not have to see the same thing all the time. Even if it's the same project, that project evolves and that generates changes, so you never get bored.

What have I been doing during this time? In recent years, I've primarily worked as a lead UI designer at CSC Global, a SaaS product for document and data management and protection. I'm responsible for designing solutions based on internal client needs, defining and updating the internal and external interfaces, and maintaining UI Kit components.

Here I've had the opportunity to create the digital product from its inception, from the construction of the UI kit, as well as the management and control of the visual and interactive evolution.

What am I looking for? I want to continue doing what I love. I'm passionate about design, and I repeat that a lot, I know. I'd also like to meet and collaborate with other designers and professionals in my field. I want to continue creating digital experiences and applying everything I've learned.

Fun facts about me! I love listening to music, all genres, from ballads to metal. I love playing soccer (I'm an Arsenal fan), I do a lot of Sudoku and puzzles, I'm a Harry Potter fan, and I'm a 100% gamer, whether it's PC or PS4, I'll play.
