Project Goals

Redesign the product packaging, specifically for the classic flavors. The goal was to develop an entirely new offering that would serve as the backbone of future branding. Aesthetically, the company sought an attractive visual solution aligned with current industry standards for pet biscuits and treats.

OLD PACKAGE

Since there were no restrictions on the design's application, the color palette was changed, eliminating brown as the background and light blue as the primary color. Competitor references were analyzed to identify structural patterns and visual guidelines relevant to the category. Despite the aesthetic renovation, all elements of the original packaging were retained to preserve the product's visual identity.

To give the brand more personality, I developed two characters—a dog and a cat—designed to help consumers identify the different product types. Their presence also adds a more relatable and playful tone to the branding, reinforcing the emotional connection with the audience.

These characters also serve as a complementary resource in digital communication, enriching content and maintaining a more engaging visual narrative.

The packaging's structural design is based on a grid of columns and rows, optimizing space and enabling precise information distribution. This organization ensures legibility without compromising the product's overall aesthetics.

Diseñar una web-app que conecte de forma eficiente a pacientes y profesionales de la salud, adaptándose a las necesidades específicas de los usuarios y respetando las directrices establecidas por el cliente.

To facilitate the identification of each flavor, a specific color palette was assigned to each variant, composed of two or three shades that provide contrast, dynamism, and print efficiency. Special attention was paid to the graphic development of each flavor name, generating unique compositions that avoid repetition and reinforce differentiation within the visuals.

As a complement, vectors for each characteristic input were incorporated, along with graphic shapes used as details to optimize space.

Throughout the process, printing costs were carefully considered, resulting in a flat design with a reduced color palette that maintained efficiency without compromising aesthetics.
