The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP or PNUD) is the global network for development within the United Nations. It fosters change and provides countries with the knowledge, experience, and resources needed to help people create a better future.
Project Goals
Design a flexible interface for the Territorial Planning module that prioritizes easy access to information and seamless content integration. The interface should have a modern and visually appealing aesthetic while ensuring intuitive navigation. It is specifically aimed at professionals such as cartographers and end users who require precision, agility, and clarity when accessing data.

This design aims to create a modern and professional appearance while balancing geographic exploration with informative content. The layout is clear and straightforward, minimizing visual distractions to enhance user comprehension.
Special attention has been paid to the legibility of all elements, including taglines and buttons, to ensure a quick connection with users and to reinforce the page's purpose of effective communication.
One of the main challenges was adjusting the content and exploring different presentation and interaction strategies. The goal was to ensure the information was visually appealing, accessible, and easy to understand.
Another important aspect was maintaining the visibility of the interactive maps. To achieve this, strategic decisions were made about the placement of items and components, ensuring there were no overlaps or visual interference.

I needed to create an infographic map highlighting the country's most pressing issues and regional disasters. To accomplish this, I designed several animated illustrations that visually and dynamically represent each current situation. These icons serve a representative function and link to specific external sections of the internal website.
Secondary brand colors were used to prevent a direct association with the commercial branding and to create a more natural tone in the overall color palette.
Pop-ups, modals, and tooltips were essential for optimizing space, ensuring map visibility, and effectively organizing content. Additionally, scrolling functionality was incorporated into these elements to improve the customization of information distribution within each component.

The design was created directly for desktop use, as access to the platform is restricted and limited to internal company purposes. Wireframes and interactive prototypes were primarily built using Adobe XD, while Adobe Illustrator was utilized to create graphic assets, icons, and illustrations.
